Item Details
This coffee table artwork was created by my husband, who was inspired after watching a movie about the Kraken, the legendary sea monster.
A wine barrel was cut in half and a glass top was cut to size. In the barrel the Kraken is displayed amongst undersea rocks. The Kraken itself has a wood-turned body, handcrafted tentacles, and a frightening mouth with over a hundred razor-sharp teeth. In the hollow in the centre all light disappears, stick your hand in this monkey-trap at your own risk.
The barrel is on wheels to allow easy movement.
